Shattered Skies

So me and friend were discussing how modern games were looking quite spanking nowadays, and we managed to come across the new graphical feature of "bloom".

From my experience, this feature is mainly to enhance the reflection of light off surfaces.

Now, I first encountered bloom when I was playing AoE III, and boy, were those roofs were SHINY. It was pretty much the first time I've seen any game featuring UV rays. Now sure, it may be pretty, but sometimes it's not pleasant to play a game with a gut feeling that you might want to bring out your sunglasses.

That being said, I think too that this piece may be too bright, but as the artist, I evidently am finding it hard to come to a proper conclusion. And yes, those are missiles, and that long blurry thing IS a nuclear missile - never mind the big shiny hammer featuring Bloom Technology. Quite an experimental piece from me if anything.
